RIZ X THE BUMBLEBEE CONSERVATION TRUST
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was set up because of concerns about the 'plight of the bumblebee'. In the last 70 years two species have become extinct in the UK and several others declined dramatically. The trust aim to prevent further declines, and to raise awareness of the problems bumblebees face.
What we say..
By donating 10% percent of our sales to help protect and raise awareness about Bee's is something that gives us great joy. The pure fact that something so small and so humble as the buzzing bumble can be so vital to life as a whole.
By printing the Bee's on our shorts amongst wild dog roses portrays nature and hapinness at it's most simple and most obvious. It's colourful and vibrant - it is life!
What the Ambassadors say..
- Sir David Attenborough
"Bumblebees are key factors in our wildlife. If they disappear many of our plants will not bear fruit. I am proud to be associated with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust"
Chris Packham, Naturalist, T.V presenter
"Few people realise just how important bumblebees are. They are charming little things and a pleasure to see, but they also do an essential job which many people take for granted. If bumblebees continue to decline then we face ecological turmoil."
